Riverbed install done.

It didn't take long. About an hour on the phone. We are going to have to upgrade the OS on all 6 at some point though. Just like any home router or access point the upgrade is pretty much the same way. Download the OS, browes to where it was saved and install.

Here they are. This first one is the 1020 and it is connected to another like it in London.

This next one is the 200 and it is connected to another like it in Shanghai.

We are actually looking at Riverbed and Cisco's product. Did you implement this solution to push CAD files across the WAN? If so, how are your real world results? We are a Civil Engineering firm with some common challenges.

In my experience, as an engineer for a Cisco partner that is also partnered with Riverbed for WAN optimization solutions, I can say that Riverbed seems to be the best of breed technology for WAN acceleration. A lot of our customers are engineering firms and construction companies that deal with CAD drawings and their engineers are able to be anywhere to work on a project. It's pretty sweet! I have a lot of comparison data on all the competitors if anyone is interested. Forrester, Gartner, etc... Just shoot me an email.
