What once was
Well since sloppy wiring seem to be flying around the net as of late I'll proudly display what my core rack USE to look like ;)

I am an experienced Telecommunications Technician in Australia, I've seen my fair share of shamozel data cabinets, all I have to say is holy shit!, I've never seen patch panels mounted on the side of a rack where you can get to them easily or switches slid in between other switches. I bet you glad this mess has been cleaned up.
